Ive's bio
Ive Somocurcio is a Biomedical Visualization graduate student at the UIC College of Applied Health Sciences. They joined the studio in May 2026 as a graduate assistant supporting the instructional design team with course site building. Prior to enrolling at the university, they worked as a chemist for 9 years in North Carolina, with experience across multiple industries. They strive to create educational tools for students and medical personnel that accommodate diverse learning.
