SUMMARY:Worked Examples: Creating Problem-Solving Activities from Home to Studio
DESCRIPTION:An effective worked example relies on strong pedagogy first, and technology enhancement second. In this 10-minute workshop, we will explore essential steps to modeling your thought process to foster active student learning. This approach is relevant to a range of disciplines, from STEM to the Fine Arts. You will walk away with a method for scaffolding asynchronous learning directly within Canvas. We will also introduce you to relevant advanced on-campus recording tools, such as the Lightboard, which is often used for UIC?s Online Learning Initiative.    This Teach in 10 Series Workshop is facilitated by the Instructional Design and Media Production Studio (IDMPS) and is intended for UIC instructors.
